Let's get technical about Levitation Protocol! The Levitation Protocol is a ZK scaling solution that layers the power of SKALE’s App-chains on top of Ethereum. Let's dive into the proposed Levitation Protocol architecture and learn how it works. The Levitation ZK Wrapper is essentially a set of smart contracts that can be run either on an existing App-chain style SKALE Chain, or on SKALE G, the upcoming, L1 Megachain that was announced alongside Levitation. Levitation's decentralized sequencer protocol has a pluggable, modular architecture which enables existing, 3rd party ZK Rollups to run seamlessly on Levitation enabled SKALE Chains. Once a user submits a transaction, the transaction is ordered and verified by the smart contract. The ZK processors then "rollup" execute and prove the transaction, whereupon it is verified and stored in ZK Block Storage on Levitation before being pushed to ETH Mainnet. 📢ATTENTION $SKL STAKERS: Update on the depreciation of Consensys CodeFi Activate Consensys has announced that they will be deprecating the Activate staking product for all tokens they support including SKL. Consensys and SKALE will continue partnership on other products and efforts. No immediate action is required on your part. Users will not be able to stake any new positions or unstake current positions through Activate after 05/31/2023 (current staking positions and holdings will NOT be impacted) Users will not be able to view or claim their earned token rewards through Activate after 05/31/2023 (the value of accumulated rewards will NOT be impacted, and users will still be able to claim rewards at any point through an alternative method) As an alternative to the Activate platform, all features including staking SKL and claiming rewards will be available to users via Unagii: https://app.unagii.com/stake/skale. NO action is currently needed for you to maintain your staked position and continue to claim rewards. However, you will not be able to see your position from the main Unagii dashboard. Activate users who are staked to other validators can see their claimable rewards when clicking "Claim" on the Unagii platform when connected to their wallet. If you have any questions or concerns, the SKALE Labs team will be happy to address them for you.
